barch pone l'attenzione sul come un artista contemporaneo si possa sentire
"stretto", racchiuso all'interno di una rigida tradizione legata
spesso ad un concetto "tipico" di arte alpina. Per questo motivo il
nostro soggetto ritrae un giovane rannicchiato e compresso, realizzato
grattando e bruciando l'ormai grigio legno di un vecchio ricovero per il fieno
(barch).

“Stre(e)t
barch”
explores the ways in which a contemporary artist can feel trapped or
even caged within rigid canons and traditions, in particular
associated with the production of “alpine art”. Our subject is
accordingly shown in a compressed and crouched position, which we
were able to obtain by scratching and burning the grey timber of a
hay shelter (barch).

“Stre(e)t barch” analyse les façons dans lesquelles un artiste contemporain peut se sentir enfermé entre la rigidité d’une tradition souvent liée à une image stéréotypé de l’art alpin. Pour cette raison, notre sujet représent un jeune homme accroupi et comprimé, que nous avons obtenu parmi le grattage et le brûlage du bois gris d'un ancien abri pour le foin (barch).

“Stre(e)t barch" untersucht wie sich heute ein zeitgenössischer Künstler in einer starren Tradition, die oft mit der typischen Kunst der Alpen verbunden ist, eingeschlossen fühlen kann. Deshalb ist der Protagonist unseres Video ein zusammengerollte und kauernde junger Mann, die wir durch das Kratzen und Brennen des grauen Holz einer alten Hütte fürs Heu (barch), erwirkt haben.
